Programme Overview
The B.Sc. Information Technology programme at Wellspring University is offered under the College of Science and Computing. Candidates whose average score in their M.Sc is between 55 and 60% will be required to enrol in the first instance for the M.Phil. Degree. In order to migrate from the M.Phil. Programme to the Ph.D. Programme, the candidate must score a minimum of 60% in the prescribed course work.

🎓 Admission Requirements
Admission is primarily through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or by Direct Entry (DE).
UTME (4-Year Programme)
O’Level Requirements (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB)
Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes at the Ordinary Level in not more than two sittings. These credits must include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
One (1) other Science subject from the following: Agricultural Science, Biology, Geography, Economics, Computer Studies, or Further Mathematics.
UTME Subject Combination
The required subjects for the UTME are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
One (1) other subject from: Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Economics, or Geography.
Direct Entry (3-Year Programme)
Direct Entry candidates are admitted into the 200 Level and must meet the O’Level requirements listed above, in addition to one of the following qualifications:
- A minimum of two Advanced Level (A/L) passes in GCE/IJMB/JUPEB or its recognized equivalent, including Mathematics and any other science subject.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) in Mathematics and any other science subject from a recognized College of Education.
