Our four-year (full-time) B.Sc. Computer Science programme provides a robust educational foundation that balances rigorous academic principles with practical, hands-on application. We focus on teaching not just how to use current technology, but how to design, develop, and manage the next generation of computing solutions.

Duration

Four (4) years (Full-Time); Five (5) years (Part-Time).

Focus

Core Programming and Algorithm Design, Software Development and Engineering Principles, Network Security, Data Analysis, and more.

Goal

To produce highly competent Computer Science graduates who can meet the demands of an ever-evolving digital job market and contribute to innovation.

🔑 Admission Requirements

We admit qualified candidates through two main entry channels:

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

O'Level

A minimum of five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), GCE, NECO, or NABTEB, or their equivalent, in not more than two sittings.

Subjects Combination

The five subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one other science subject (e.g., Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography, Computer Studies, or Further Mathematics).

UTME Subject Combination

English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and one other subject from Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Economics, or Geography.

UTME Score

Satisfy the minimum JAMB cut-off score as determined for the year of admission.

Direct Entry (DE)

Admission Requirements

Candidates must satisfy the O'Level requirements (as listed above) in addition to one of the following:

A/Levels

Minimum of two Advanced Level passes in GCE/IJMB/JUPEB or its recognized equivalent, which must include Mathematics and any other science subject.

OND/HND:

Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognized institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related disciplines.

NCE:

Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) in Mathematics and any other science subject from a recognized College of Education.
