The NUC CCMASS Aligned 6-Year Curriculum
In absolute conformity with the National Universities Commission's Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMASS), our curriculum is uniquely structured. UTME Entry:
Admission Requirements
5 O'Level Credit passes in WAEC/NECO/GCE at a single sitting in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. An exceptionally competitive UTME score in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is required.
MINIMUM UTME SCORE - 2026/2027
The minimum Utme score required for admission into MBBS programme for the 2026/2027 session is 200 marks.
Direct Entry:
Outstanding, verifiable points in JUPEB/A-Levels (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a top-tier first degree (Minimum of Second Class Upper Division) in a related Basic Medical Science discipline.

Professor Orhue O. AMENGIALUE
Professor Orhue Osayamen Amengialue is a Professor of Medical Microbiology and Virology, and the Dean of College of Health Sciences, Wellspring University, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He is an intellectual colossus, with a purpose driven personality, whose several years of experience span through the medical science practice and academia. He holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology from the Ambrose Alli University, Edo State, Nigeria. Also, he holds an M.Sc. Degree in Public Health Microbiology, and a Ph.D Degree in Medical Microbiology and Virology, both from the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. Aside his medical background and expertise, he is a Chattered Manager, with certification in Management. Professor Amengialue is an Environmental and Public Health expert, Medical Microbiologist and a Virologist who has contributed significantly to humanity and existing body of knowledge, through community service and scholarly research works, published in several reputable journals. He is a visible scholar who has attended several local and international conferences/workshops with presentations. Professor Amengialue is a Member of different professional bodies such as the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the Nigerian Society for Microbiology (NSM), the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
