Victor Osasu Eguavoen is an accomplished academic and computing professional with over a decade of combined experience in higher education, research, and technical administration. Currently serving as a Lecturer II in the Department of Computing at Wellspring University, he is concurrently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Benin.
His core areas of expertise and research specialization include Hybrid Soft Computing Systems, Ensemble Machine Learning, Insider Threat Detection, Cardiovascular Disease Risk Prediction, and Network Security, as evidenced by his extensive publication record in international journals. Mr. Eguavoen possesses deep instructional experience across critical computing domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Software Engineering (Process and Architecture), Data Communication and Networks, and Compiler Construction.
Beyond teaching, he holds significant administrative responsibilities, notably as the Coordinator of the Degree Foundation Programme (JUPEB) and a member of several key University committees, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational capabilities. He holds a B.Sc. (2nd Class Upper) and M.Sc. in Computer Science, and is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
