Admission Requirements
At least five (5) credit passes in WAEC/NECO/SSCE/GCE or NABTEB with an acceptable score in UTME.
JUPEB (Degree Foundation)
A 2-semester programme. Successful candidates are admitted to 200 Level at Wellspring University or other choices. JAMB UTME is not required.
University Diploma
(2 Years) Microbiology: After successful completion, candidates are admitted into 200 Level in the same department.
Top-Up Programme
This 2-year programme is designed for holders of HND and recognized professional qualifications to obtain a degree in their respective fields.
Ubemilin: Centre for tomorrow
Community, learning, innovation.
At Wellspring University, we believe that innovation is not just about technology. We see innovation as doing things differently to achieve a better result. This has led to the birth of The Ubemilin Centre for Tomorrow (Wellspring University’s Innovation hub). The term Ubemilin is coined from the local Benin dialect meaning ‘to nurture’. The Ubemilin Centre for Tomorrow is Wellspring University’s intervention vehicle to nurture, manage and promote innovative thinking and initiatives. Here, we would birth social impact enterprises, entrepreneurial ideas, promote advocacy and leadership initiatives beyond the classroom.
WELLSPRING UNIVERSITY GETS NUC FULL ACCREDITATION FOR NURSING AND OTHER PROGRAMMES
Going by the outcome of the latest accreditation exercise conducted by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Wellspring University has again demonstrated its readiness to occupy a leading position among Nigerian private and public universities in no distant time.
The cheery news, as announced to the media by Wellspring University Vice Chancellor, Professor Isaac Rotimi Ajayi FNIP, was conveyed in a letter dated 30th April, 2025 and signed by the Acting Director of Accreditation, Engineer Abraham Chundusu for the National Secretary of NUC, in which the regulatory body granted full accreditation to Wellspring University’s Nursing Science, Public Health, Information Technology and Biochemistry programmes……
