The typical duration for the full-time MBA program is a minimum of two (2) academic sessions (4 semesters).
To be considered for the Master of Business Administration program at Wellspring University, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Academic Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or any other acceptable degree from Wellspring University or any other recognised University.
- Minimum Grade: Candidates must typically possess a minimum of a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5-point scale (or equivalent).
2. Alternative Routes
- Third Class Honours/HND Route: Candidates with a Third Class Honours Degree in a relevant discipline or an HND Certificate (with at least a lower credit) may be eligible for admission through the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) route first.
- PGD Requirement: Successful completion of a PGD in a relevant discipline (e.g., PGD Business Administration or PGD Financial Management) with an acceptable grade (e.g., a minimum of Upper Credit or a specific CGPA) is required to progress to the MBA.
- Professional Certificates: Holders of recognized professional certificates such as ACA, CIBN, CITN, etc., are also eligible to apply.
3. Basic Matriculation Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes at the Ordinary Level (WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent) in not more than two sittings.
- These must include English Language and Mathematics, in addition to other relevant subjects.
