Acting Head of the Department of Public Health
Dr. O.B. Uhuonrenren
Dr. O.B. Uhuonrenren is a distinguished Medical Laboratory Scientist, certified and licensed by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN). He also holds certification and licensure as a Senior Clinical Embryologist from the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Belgium. His career encompasses significant contributions to both academia and public health administration. Dr. Uhuonrenren holds multiple advanced degrees, including:
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.M.L.Sc.) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Human Physiology from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Human Assisted Reproduction and Embryology from the University of Valencia, Spain
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Physiology from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria
He is an active member of several professional associations, including: The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) The Clinical Embryologists Association of Nigeria (CEAN) The Academy of Clinical Embryologists, India The European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) Currently, Dr. Uhuonrenren serves as the Acting Head of the Department of Public Health at Wellspring University, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. His leadership is instrumental in advancing the department's mission of promoting and protecting public health through education, research, and community engagement.
