It is a great pleasure welcoming all the students of the College of Health Sciences to the campus for the 2021/2022 academic session, your very first session in the College of Health Sciences, and indeed, the distinguished pioneering student body of the highly promising new college of the University.
We salute the wisdom of your parents / guardians in choosing Wellspring University as a gate-way towards your future, individually. And we will like to know that you are fully prepared to face your studies with the same strength of purpose and the seriousness your academic life on-campus demands.
As pioneers, a lot of responsibilities lay on your shoulders to set standards in conduct and academic prowess for other colleges of the University to emulate. Already one is delightfully impressed with the enthusiasm with which most of you bubble through lectures and practical classes and we look forward to this translating into outstanding academic performance and character of which the University and your parents / guardians would be proud.
Choose friends that would inspire you further in your studies and good conduct. The contrasting situations should be abhorred by all.
The course unit system practiced in the University allows you free access to your academic advisers in the departments of the College to tackle challenges, in addition to the readily accessible assistance offered in the hall of residence by the Hall administrators.
You are urged to avail yourselves of a number of facilities for positive and inspiring social interactions on the campus as well as those for spiritual development in Christian fellowships on Wednesdays and Sundays.
I wish you all an eventful 2021/2022 session and God’s speed in your endeavors.
