- Candidates scoring between 55% and 60% first enrol for the M.Phil., migrating to the Ph.D. on attaining 60% in the prescribed coursework.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline with at least Second Class Honours, from a recognised university.
- Or a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- A minimum of a Third Class Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline from a recognised university.
