Dr. Patrick Stephen Ohikhena, male, holds a BSc (Sociology and Anthropology) Second Class Upper (1979) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; MBA (1991) from the University of Benin; and PhD Management (2014) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He won the Akinmokun’s prize for the best graduating student in Business Policy and Strategic Management in the 1991 MBA class at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).

Born in 1955, he hails from Ihievbe, Owan East Local Government, Edo State; was in the Bendel State Civil Service (later Edo State) where he rose to the rank of Principal Assistant Secretary (1981-1992), worked in the defunct United Commercial Bank Limited, Lagos (1992-1994) before joining Management Science Centre in 1998. He was Secretary, Planning and Implementation Committee (PIC) of Wellspring University (2005-2009); Secretary, Board of Trustees, Wellspring University (2005- 2009). He joined Wellspring University as Lecturer 11(2009); promoted Lecturer 1 (2012); promoted Senior Lecturer (2014); promoted Associate Professor (2018); and appointed Registrar/ Secretary to Council in 2018. He was Ag. Head, Department of Business Administration (2016-2018) and led the Department to full accreditation in 2017, obtaining the highest score in the University. He has authored and co-authored about 27 publications and is on Academia, Google Scholar, and ORCID.
