Dr Matthew Udaya Onuh, is a Senior Lecturer and acting Head of Department of Mass Communication, Wellspring University, Benin City, Edo State.

He holds a Ph.D.in Mass Communication specialising in Gender and Communication from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a Master of Arts Degree (MA) in Mass Communication from the same University of Nigeria and a B.Sc. Degree in Mass Communication from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Dr Onuh has over seventeen (17) years cognate University teaching experience which he acquired from both Private and Public Universities, with many publications in reputable Journals and (3) three Text books in Mass Communication. He also holds a Certificate in Computer operation from Digital Bridge Institute, Sapele Delta State. He is a member of the National body of African Council for Communication Education (ACCE). Dr Onuh is also the Sports Director of Wellspring University. He is a prolific writer, and seasoned Editor of repute, parading a wealth of experience in printing and publishing, which spans many years, and in reputable organisations. Dr. Onuh is happily married with children.
