FOUNDING ORGANISATION

Management Science Centre, a renowned firm of academics and professionals based Lagos, Nigeria, is the founding/parent body of Wellspring University. The Centre, which has been in the education sector of the Nigerian economy since 1983, can be aptly regarded as the doyen of private tertiary education in Nigeria.

PRO-CHANCELLOR

Daniel C. Isimoya, B.Sc.(Economics), M.Sc.(Finance), the Chief Executive Officer of Management Science Centre. Mr. Isimoya, a former employee of the University of Lagos, has spent over twenty five years in the administration of private tertiary institutions. Mr. Isimoya is a Deacon in Assemblies of God Church in Obalende, Lagos State and the author of many Christian and secular books.

VICE-CHANCELLOR

Professor T. I. Ofuya, is a Nigerian, who was 60 years old on November 4, 2014. He hails from Ikoro, an Ijaw village in Edo State. His highest educational attainment is the Ph.D degree in Plant Science with specialization in Crop Entomology, obtained in 1984 at the University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University).

GOVERNING COUNCIL

Our Governing Council is charged with the overall control of the policies, finances and property of the university, including its public relations. The Council consists of the following members:

Professor Willy C. IYIEGBUNIWE, B.Sc., MBA (Lagos), M.Sc., Ph.D. (Georgia State), ACTU, AICCA, Professor of Finance and former Head of Department of Finance, University of Lagos.

Professor Joe M. IGWE, BES, MED (Lagos), IMNIA, RegArch., Professor of Architecture and Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Lagos.

Professor Nkeonye OTAKPOR, BA (Leuven). MA (Essex), Professor of Philosophy and former Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Benin, Benin City.

Dr. (Rev.) Michael A. OHIORENOYA, B.Sc. (Benin), M.Sc. (Birmingham), Ph.D. (Brunei), a former lecturer of the University in the Benin, Dr. Ohiorenoya is a Minister of the Gospel of Christ.
